Photos from May 31 and a Thank You from Bob Yearwood

Trinity Sunday and the Celebration for Bob Yearwood on Trinity Sunday, May 31, 2026, was full of good energy and a smashing success.

Bob and his family would love to see any photos that you took! If you have pictures to share, even if Bob is not in them, please send them to [email protected].

And, here is a thank you message from Bob:

To the Trinity Church Family,

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made my retirement celebration so special. To the clergy, vestry and wardens, ministry leaders, and every member of the administration, facilities, and church staff-thank you for the tremendous effort, thoughtfulness, and love that went into every detail of the day.

I was deeply touched by the beautiful video presentation. Seeing the faces, hearing the stories, and reflecting on so many years of shared memories was truly moving. It is something I will treasure for the rest of my life.

I am also overwhelmed by the many cards and messages I received. In fact, I have been reading about ten cards each night so that I can fully absorb every message and sentiment shared. Each card reflects a friendship, a memory, or a kind thought, and I want to give every one of them the attention it deserves. The words you have written have brought me joy, laughter, and more than a few tears.

After 56 years at Trinity Church, I never imagined such an outpouring of love and appreciation. Your kindness has reminded me how blessed I have been-not only to serve Trinity, but also to spend my life among such remarkable people.

My family also asked me to extend their gratitude for the way you have consistently shown up for me in every season of life. Your love and support have not only sustained me, but have also embraced them as well, and they are deeply thankful.

Thank you for giving me a celebration that I will never forget and for memories I will carry with me always.

With sincere gratitude,

Bob Yearwood
