With grateful hearts, we are delighted to report that new pew cushions are being installed in our sanctuary as of this week. A hope of many for a long season, this project has been lovingly stewarded by our wonderful facilities team in partnership with parishioners who serve on our Art & Architecture and our Building committees, and important advice about acoustic implications from our music department.
As we look forward to a year of celebrating our building’s 150th anniversary, it is a blessing to refresh the very heart of this building, the sanctuary where, day by day, we grow together in God’s grace and love. As leaders of our 150th Anniversary Committee have named in parish updates, one of the values that emerged clearly from the parish visioning process about the anniversary is “welcome.” New pew cushions are among the first and most visible signs of this priority.
Join us for worship this Sunday – a comfortable seat will be waiting to welcome you.
