We’re delighted to introduce a brand-new podcast at Trinity! Good News in the City is a series of conversations about civic and spiritual issues in Boston with people who are taking action to create a more beloved community. It will be hosted by the Reverend Rainey Dankel, Associate Rector for Community Outreach & Ministry Development; and by Simone John, Outreach Coordinator.
In our inaugural episode, Rainey chats with Kenzie Bok, a Trinity parishioner and member of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization. Kenzie grew up in the South End and recently returned home, and has been active in GBIO’s organizing efforts around the issue of affordable housing. She speaks in particular about the Community Preservation Act, a local ballot question that would add a nominal surcharge to property taxes in order to support affordable housing; parks, recreation, and conservation; and historical preservation. Tune in to hear more about this exciting initiative, and learn ways that you can support affordable housing in our city.
