Reflections on Faith
Exploring and Expressing One’s Faith
Building a relationship with God is a lifelong endeavor. A broad spectrum of theological views is represented within the Episcopal Church. Scripture, tradition, and reason are our guides to our understanding of God.
Exploring and expressing one’s faith, and even doubts, is encouraged at Trinity. To that end, we have a number of resources you can turn for support in your spiritual journey, and for more information about what we believe, where our faith comes from, and why we do what we do as Episcopalians at Trinity.
Parish Covenant
We believe that we find God through being in community. As Christ said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them." (Matthew 18:20) It isn’t always easy—even the original disciples had to be reminded how to care for each other even when disagreeing. A group of parishioners composed a Parish Covenant that has been adopted by the entire parish as a guide to respectful, caring discourse with each other.
