Church Nursery

Register your child here for Children’s Ministries!

(If you'd prefer to print a registration form and bring that in, here it is)

Our Church Nursery—available for infants and toddlers up through age four—provides parents the opportunity to worship and attend adult education forums and classes knowing that their young children are in a safe and nurturing place. The Nursery is open Sunday mornings 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 pm. No reservations are required for Sunday mornings.

Please note that there is a minimum of six adult caregivers in the nursery at all times. Only experienced caregivers, all of whom have received CPR training as well as the child protection training required by the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, serve in our Nursery. To learn more about our caregivers, contact our Director of Children's Ministries.

Nursery Procedures

Submit your Family Registration Form here.

Please Note: This form is required prior to first drop-off of your child in our Nursery.

In bringing your child into our care, we ask that you follow a few required safety procedures:

  1. Sign in on the sheet outside the Nursery entrance each Sunday.

  2. Please be sure to inform the nursery staff if your child has any allergies or dietary or other special needs.

  3. Fill out a nametag for your child and place it on his or her back (they're less likely to remove it from this location).

  4. Enter only through the door marked “Entrance."

  5. You are welcome to stay until your child is comfortable, but keep in mind that most children settle in a few minutes after your departure.

  6. We require that whichever parent signs in their child or children be the same parent who retrieves them.

What to Bring

Please bring a labeled bag that includes a pacifier (if your child uses one), at least two diapers, a change of clothes, and all personal items your child may need such as wipes, ointment, bottles, and/or comforting blankets. All personal items should be labeled before arrival. If you forget diapers and wipes, we have some on hand.

Apple juice, saltines, and graham crackers are available.

Health Guidelines

For the protection of all children and caregivers, please do not bring your child to the Nursery if he or she is ill. If a child becomes ill while in the Nursery, parents will be asked to take the child home. Nursery staff cannot administer medication. Children who have experienced any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours should not come to the nursery: fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, undiagnosed rashes or sores, ongoing cough, runny eyes and nose, and/or symptoms of childhood illnesses such as measles, chicken pox, mumps, influenza, strep throat, or head lice.
