SCROLL TO EXPLORE

The music program at Trinity Church in Boston exists to glorify God and to lead God’s people in worship. What we believe, we sing.

ABOUT TRINITY'S MUSIC PROGRAM

Trinity’s rich musical life is lived out throughout the year in a wide variety of services and events for parishioners and visitors alike. It leads the congregation weekly in worship and offers special and beloved music events for the Boston area.

As a parish, music helps us express our faith, draws us together, and connects us with the greater community of Boston. From our two pipe organs to our intergenerational choirs, the presence of music is a key element of worship and is an opportunity to extend God’s love beyond the walls of Trinity Church.

JOIN US

Join us for weekly Sunday services, Wednesday evening Choral Evensong led by the Choristers, Friday afternoon organ recitals, and special events such as the annual Messiah and Candlelight Carols weekends in December.

Trinity’s music program also seeks to look toward the future while honoring the past. The repertoire includes modern and underrepresented composers, artists, and performers, while cherishing our beloved Anglican musical traditions.

Holy Week & Easter

Dear Trinity Church and Friends, Grace and Peace and Lenten greetings. I hope this message finds you and yours well.

The choirs of Trinity Church Boston have released several recordings including a 1990 recording of Candlelight Carols, which famed jazz pianist/vocalist Diana Krall listed as one of her favorite Christmas albums, and a 2001 Christmas recording which received critical acclaim from Gramophone magazine. Our new Christmas album, ‘The Great Glad Tidings Tell’, featuring music by current and diverse composers was released in December 2024 — and made it to Number 1 on the Billboard Classical Chart, and Number 4 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart the week of Christmas.
