Sunday Night Living Bread

Trinity parishioners, clergy, and other volunteers who engage in this ministry with our homeless neighbors visit "T" stops and alleyways around Copley Square to engage in communion and conversation with homeless men and women. Commissioned at the end of the 6 p.m. Sunday evening worship service, this small cadre departs with consecrated hosts and a bottle of holy oil, as well as snacks and other practical items such as gloves or toothbrushes. Prayers and the Eucharist are offered to those living on the streets, but this ministry is primarily about extending hospitality and creating relationship.
