Sandy Marxen
Sandy rejoined the Trinity staff in 2024, having worked in IT and facilities at Trinity from 2000 to 2008 and volunteered in the archives from 2008 to 2024. As manager of the archives, she continues to field questions from the clergy, staff, parish, and public; and spends significant time happily cataloging Trinity's documents and artifacts to help prepare for the 150th anniversary of Trinity's buildings in Copley Square. In the IT realm, she provides frontline technical support to clergy and staff, supports the livestreaming of services and events, and manages the hardware/software and other equipment.
Before and between stints at Trinity, Sandy spent 25+ years with leading intellectual property law firms where she started out writing patent applications. Having an organized personality, she soon turned to administration and developed firm-wide policies, procedures, and databases. Related, she was sold on The Episcopal Church from the moment she opened a copy of The Book of Common Prayer ("it's so well-structured!") and has been a member of Trinity since 2000.
