Visitors Services Update

Dear Trinity Church and friends,  

Trinity Church in the City of Boston is designated as “one of the top ten most important buildings in America” by the American institute of Architects. In the wake of Covid-19 we have been forced to shut our doors. But, staying at home no longer means losing access to our beloved sacred space. Please read on for an update from Visitor Services.   
 

Virtual Tour 

We are pleased to provide a virtual experience for our parishioners to reconnect with, and armchair travelers to catch a glimpse of, the beauty and tranquility of our spiritual home. Check out our new virtual tour of Trinity here!  
 

Virtual Tea with the Tour Guides  

October 11 at 4pm via Zoom  

On Sunday, October 11 at 4pm, we will host a Virtual Tea with the Tour Guides, where our tour guides and members of the Art and Architecture Committee will discuss the virtual tour. We ask that you take the 15-minute video tour beforehand and come prepared for an interesting and informative discussion on this National Historic Landmark Building. If you would like to join this "Virtual Tea with the Tour Guides", please RSVP via email to Donna Stenwall at dstenwall@trinitychurchboston.org by Thursday, October 8.   

 

Online Shop  

Since closing the narthex shop in March, we have needed to think outside the box in terms of how we can share the beauty of Trinity within our parish and with the broader world. One way we can do this is by tapping into existing popular online outlets such as Redbubble. We have created a Trinity Church Redbubble shop featuring some of our most popular Trinity-inspired and related designs, as well as photography. Designs and images appear on a wide range of merchandise that is custom made when you place an order. Please take a look, and visit often to see what new items are being featured.   
 

Touching Home  

Begins October 5  

While the Visitor Services staff have missed interacting in person with visitors and parishioners alike, we are so looking forward to being back in the sanctuary as greeters to the Touching Home pilgrims. Click here for a reminder about this new initiative that allows parishioners, at designated times, to visit the church, pray our sacred space, and receive Communion for home.
