Price Lecture: Flesh and Fire: Reincarnation and Universal Salvation in the Early Church

For the first of this year's Price Lectures, our speaker was Charles M. Stang, Professor of Early Christian Thought, Director of the Center for the Study of World Religions, Harvard Divinity School.  Stang offered an introduction to Origen–the first great Christian theologian​.  Origen's 3rd century writings, while declared heretical in the sixth century, are being reclaimed by a new generation of scholars within the Episcopal Church and beyond.
