How to Participate in March for Our Lives this Saturday
On Saturday, March 24, Boston will participate in the nationwide March for Our Lives, a movement begun by young people to protest continued shootings in schools and on our streets. Interested Trinity parishioners and friends are encouraged to march together, and to join in with others in the diocese through several options for participation:
1. Interfaith Prayer Service, Saturday, March 24, 10:30-11:15 am, offered by Emmanuel and Central Reform Temple at 15 Newbury Street. Following the service, Trinity parishioners will gather to discuss next steps for participation.
2. March for Our Lives: For those who wish to participate in the entire March, representatives from the Diocese and Episcopal City Mission will gather marchers beginning at 10:00am at UU Urban Ministry building, located at 8 John Elliott Sq. in Roxbury (parking available). This group will join the main march beginning at Madison Park High School at 11:00 AM. The march from Madison Park High School is expected to arrive at the Boston Common sometime after noon. MAP
