- The annual concert series at Trinity Church is eagerly anticipated by members of Boston’s vibrant community of music lovers.
The variety of events offered by singers and instrumentalists in H.H. Richardson’s architectural masterpiece at Copley Square draw audiences from across New England.
Annual performances of Handel’s Messiah and Candlelight Carols are beloved Boston traditions, and concerts in recent years seek to spotlight modern and diverse composers and arrangements.
Recent performances on our Concert Series have featured the Trinity Choirs and Orchestra performing works such the Brahms Requiem, Britten Company of Heaven, Rachmaninoff Vespers, and Bach Mass in B Minor, as well as collaborations with Berklee College of Music on Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concerts and a choral premiere of Marvin Gaye’s album What’s Going On.
Trinity has also been honored to host an impressive list of visiting soloists and ensembles from around the world, including Chanticleer, the Choir of St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, the Yale Schola Cantorum, and the Boston Camerata.
