At the end of our Sunday morning worship services, we often pray to be sent out into the world as “faithful witnesses” of the Good News of the Gospel.
And in scripture, Jesus summarizes the essence of the Gospel as a call to love God with all our heart, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Through ministries of service, the people of Trinity are invited to serve those outside its walls, and to manifest the love of neighbor to which Jesus calls us. The ministries of the Outreach & Justice cohort of the Trinity Ministry Council invite participants to promote justice, peace and love and, through partnerships with a diverse spectrum of community non-profits, anchor Trinity’s commitment to service in the wider community.
Getting involved in a ministry of service is an excellent way for newcomers to begin participating in the life of the community and building relationships with other Trinitarians. More information about these ministries can be found [on the Outreach & Justice section of the Ministry Council page. or by contacting the Rev. Brandon Ashcraft
