The Book of Common Prayer Forum Series: “A People of the Book” 

As the definitive source of our liturgical tradition, the Book of Common Prayer “holds us in common” with Anglicans throughout the world, serving as an essential sign of unity and marker of Anglican identity. On Sun., Jan. 19, in the second session in this three-part series, led by the Rev. Brandon Ashcraft, will explore the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (the Prayer Book currently in use), its defining features, and the history of its reception at Trinity Church. Colin Lynch, Director of Music, will conclude the series on Sun., Jan. 26, with a spotlight on The Hymnal 1982.
