The Book of Common Prayer Forum Series
As the definitive source of our liturgical tradition, the Book of Common Prayer “holds us in common” with Anglicans throughout the world, serving as an essential sign of unity and marker of Anglican identity. This three-part series will take participants on a journey across five centuries, exploring the earliest Prayer Books of the English Reformation through to the American Prayer Book of 1979, offering a window into the debates that have shaped Anglican theology and practice. Led by members of the Trinity clergy, the series will also feature an exploration of hymnody, led by Colin Lynch, Director of Music.
