Summer Zoom Series II: Created to Create

Join Associate Director of Music Jerrick Cavagnaro and Minister for Young Adults and Youth Katrina Leslie this summer for a three-week Zoom series exploring how creativity connects us more deeply with God and with ourselves. Whether you’re a seasoned artist, crafter or musician, a casual doodler, or someone who’s just curious, this series is for you.  

Week 1 (June 24): Introduction to Creative Spiritual Practices
What is a creative spiritual practice, and how can it shape our faith? Jerrick and Katrina kick off the series by exploring different ways creativity can become part of our prayer life and a way to connect us with our Creator. 

Week 2 (July 1): Music as a Creative Spiritual Practice
In this session, Jerrick will dive into how music can be a powerful tool for connection, expression, and spiritual grounding.   

Week 3 (July 8): Crafting as a Creative Spiritual Practice
Katrina will end our series by inviting us to consider how long-term creative projects can help us slow down, reflect, and grow in faith.
