Join fellow parishioners for a time of fun and fellowship as we gather to “clean out the larder” in preparation for Lent. Share about your favorite kind of pancakes, take part in a Shrove Tuesday apron contest (since pancake making can get messy), and hear about the tradition of Shrove or Fat Tuesday, also known as Mardi Gras. We’ll do the pancake prep work together, and you’ll be able to eat your pancakes on your own. Making and/or eating pancakes isn’t a prerequisite, though, all are invited to come and be part of the fun!
So, be ready to share your favorite pancake variation (or waffles...), wear – or create - your most festive and fun apron and have your pancake ingredients at the ready (including toppings!)
