Join us for a timely reflection on our denomination’s varied history of living into its own diversity, presented by Michael Battle, Professor of Church and Society and director of the Desmond Tutu Center at the General Theological Seminary in New York. A guest of Trinity’s annual Bonnyman Symposium initiative to address racism, Rev. Battle has published nine books, including “Reconciliation: the Ubuntu Theology of Desmond Tutu,” and the book for the Episcopal Church’s General Convention, “Ubuntu: I in You and You in Me.” His visit with us will include a presentation during the forum hour on history, race and reconciliation and then the optional opportunity for a light lunch and further conversation.
