At the Annual Parish Meeting on Sunday, February 15, the parish will elect a Junior Warden, Clerk, two members of the Vestry, and a delegate to the Diocesan Convention.
It is the responsibility of the Nominating Committee, which is governed by Trinity’s By-Laws, to nominate members of the Parish to fill vacancies in leadership positions. The work of the Nominating Committee must be completed at least 35 days prior to the date of the Annual Parish Meeting, and the nominations must be filed with the clerk and posted (physically in the Parish House and digitally on our website) for 30 days before the meeting.
Nominations were accepted until December 11. The Nominating Committee, comprising Jill Norton, Chair; Chris Allen, Senior Warden; Barbara Dortch-Okara, Junior Warden; Christopher Atwood, Clerk; Chris Parris; and Morgan Allen, Rector, then worked to create the slate that will be moved at the Annual Parish Meeting.
We will combine Morning Prayer worship with our Annual Parish Meeting at 10 am on Sunday, February 15. The Meeting’s various reports, presentations, and business — including updates from our 150th Committee — will be threaded through the liturgy at that hour. With intentions to welcome as many people as possible, this will be our only worship service for the day (there will be no 8 am or 5 pm service). A livestream to trinitychurchboston.org/live-worship, and YouTube and Facebook pages will welcome those worshiping from home.
