DESCRIPTION:We return to Rosie’s Place\, the oldest women’s shelter in the country\, to prepare and serve dinner to the shelter’s guests. The Rosie’s Place staff designs the menu\, they just need our hands and hearts to prepare and serve the meal! No kitchen experience is necessary. DESCRIPTION:Alongside existing partnership with Rosie’s Place and Pine Street Inn\, Trinity has added a new shelter to our consortium of outreach partners: our Back Bay neighbor\, Women’s Lunch Place\, a day shelter community for women experiencing poverty and homelessness. With the congregation gathered in the chancel (where the choir customarily sits) and the first rows of the nave\, we will share a liturgy with readings\, preaching\, music\, and Communion – services purposefully kept to a half-hour for those joining during a workday’s lunch hour.
