A hymn for the evening may follow the short reading from scripture. DESCRIPTION:Are you a crafty knitter or clever crochet-er? Join Stitching in the Spirit this Saturday for our meeting\, usually held on the third Saturday of every month! Some of our members are knitting baby blankets for the nursery\, and others are knitting hats and scarves for the Dever-McCormack School and Catie’s Closet. We also have a stash of yarn available and will take donations from folks who are cleaning out their own stashes. SUMMARY:Serve Your Neighbor at Rosie's Place
DESCRIPTION:We return to Rosie’s Place\, the oldest women’s shelter in the country\, to prepare and serve dinner to the shelter’s guests. The Rosie’s Place staff designs the menu\, they just need our hands and hearts to prepare and serve the meal! No kitchen experience is necessary.
