Asylum Refugee Ministry Services Open Meeting
The news is full of stories about the challenges facing refugees. Come learn about ways Trinity parishioners can get involved. Hear Dr. Abdulrahman Rageh speak about his experience as an Egyptian seeking asylum in the United States. Then, hear from representatives of the Refugee Immigrant Ministry (RIM) and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston (CCAB), two local organizations that have been embedded in this work in the city of Boston for decades. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about Trinity’s plans to support this community through initiatives like teaching English as a second language, running drives, and collaborating with existing organizations. This is a great opportunity for anyone concerned about refugees to better understand how these important issues play out at a local level.
