Union of Black Episcopalians to Recognize Vincent James

All are welcome to attend a service of Holy Eucharist to celebrate the Feast Day of Absalom Jones, the first African-American priest in the Episcopal Church. As part of this annual celebration, awards are made to individuals from the churches which have chapters of the Union of Black Episcopalians. Trinity parishioner Vincent James and members of other churches will be recognized for their demonstrated leadership and faithfulness in their parish this year. In addition to serving in worship as lector and Lay Eucharistic Minister, Vincent was on this year’s Bonnyman Symposium Planning Team and serves on the Rector Search Committee.
